In the early 2000’s after operating as a traditional agent for five years, broker Brad Cecil had seen the good, bad, and ugly parts of the local real estate market. Driven by those experiences, he founded Farmer’s House in 2007 with the goal of providing real estate service at a price that most people could afford. “After seeing the waste of the multi-level marketing system that is the traditional real estate model, I knew that it could be done better,” says Cecil. In the early days of the venture, the going was tough. “It was difficult to convince people that it could be done that affordably,” says Cecil. Little by little, Farmer’s House started having more and more successful sales. Each one led to another. Referrals built the business from a small start-up in 2007 to a record 19 million in sales in 2016.
